I use photography to both capture and construct images that translate ideas into visual form. Humor, light, and concept are the foundations of my practice, enabling me to examine the world with equal measures of wit and curiosity. My work is rooted in the present moment—shaped by the news to life living in New York City, and my ongoing travels across the country in my Auto-America series.
My influences include Robert Crumb and expanded through the work of artists such as Dan Winters, Andrés Serrano, and Krzysztof Wodiczko—each of whom offered distinct perspectives on context, narrative, and image-making.
